• a new trail

this week has been both sad & happy; my book came out this week on Amazon & to surprising feedback. I sat & ate lunch the other day & was fascinated by this old man swaying back & forth walking his dog down the street. The dog knew the trail so it was sweet to watch.

I am proud of my writing & life’s experiences that I’ve written about in the book. I am sitting battling Spring with vertigo. Nothing like having your inner ear to make you dizzy. It’s not my first rodeo when it comes to vertigo so I will do what I do each day & feel my way through it.

Here’s the link to my book on Amazon.

I am also happy to made a new contact while at the same time letting go of an old one. Sometimes when people don’t want your help you have to walk away that’s just the way life is.

Please give me your honest feelings about my book. It’s the only way I will become a better writer.

  • Greylight

So it begins my world as an author will be very real by the end of the week.

My book is a compulation of 20 years worth of work. As I lived both on the East coast & Seattle it showcases both.

Writing poetry & this blog has been essential for my mental & physical health.

I hope you find my work on Amazon & like what I have written. I have been a bit reluctant to publish because I want people to see me & my work for what it is.

    Enjoy.

  • London calling

I spent a few days in London last week & had a blast there. The city is full of history which our own private guide showed us when we went on the Charles Dickens tour throughout central London’s northend. He manuevered us expertly out of a crowded area to a small one where we learned just how much London has been developed. It rained which was no surprise.

The other highlight was seeing Picasso 1932 at the Tate Modern & walking over the London Bridge. We rode the tube & spent an afternoon in Liberty where we had afternoon tea at Arthurs. Carrot cake that we saved for last was uneatable, it tasted of a combination of flour & baking soda. Disappointed.

We ate pho & went to a curry house with a very interesting staff. Took a short trip around Scotland at Cadenhead & checked out the Kew Royal Gardens where we got muddy but happy looking at all the Spring flowers. London was fun, but the old architecture that didn’t burn in the great fire was fun to see. We checked out Rules London’s oldest restaurant.

The b&b we stayed in was outside of central London’s circle 1 we where in circle 3 & it was quiet after the pub closed downstairs. I enjoyed eating a full British & thoroughly enjoyed the toast & tomatoes. The highlight of the trip was of course spending time with my bestfriend who referred to me as old when the clock struck 11pm….i am Old. Stay tuned for the release of my poetry book coming out soon.
