If you had to sum up your life philosophy in one sentence, what would it be?
Although this year has been rough my spirit hasn’t broken. I’m still happy, still kind to people. I think others have tried & failed repeatedly to break me-that has not happened.
I practiced this mantra & have done so for over 10 years. I believe in being in the present no matter how hard it may be. I just had a poisoning that put me in the hospital. I was in isolation for 4 days, in a large, cold room. They thought I was extremely contagious so all the medical staff wore protective gear.
I used the time alone to listen to music & read & journal. At times it was rough but I watched the traffic & the hills around the hospital. Yesterday, I did my entry for this blog from my room.
You sometimes have to make lemonade when you have no lemons. What I mean is boredom is good it’s our creative side & it helps our imagination.
I am grateful for every day no matter how or where I am. I breathe in the air even if filtered & cold. I take in the wind in my face no matter how warm or cold it is. I don’t take people for granted & am kind to everyone I know.
What joy do you spread? I’m not talking about Christmas but are you kind to people in the service industry or are you a nightmare client?
I practice kindness Everyday! Why because it’s contagious like they thought I was in the hospital.
