• flatLatte’s

i think i am becoming spoiled by living next to one of the best coffee houses in the world, or maybe it is that i Hate flat latte’s. it’s sort of like paying for stale beer, Justworse. the wind brought the sun-something unexpected but beautiful. i am going to take a break from movies for a while, skipping down the trail is more fun anyway & i will be utilizing my snowshoes this winter with the one of the Biggest snowFalls on record.

i am sitting sipping a stale latte and remembering how far i have come the last 6months; maybe it is the meds, my ability to start sorting through what is a Trigger with my mental illness and what isn’t. i recently reached a new way for the new road i am making. how i feel what makes me Feel. 2 very different things. hence, i see myself in a different light-and am working on the new steps i am forging.

i have also decided to keep my flickr account strictly with my cell phone, although i got a new camera in the mail-and abs love using it. the pictures it takes are awesome! i haven’t had a camera since i made the mistake of leaving my old camera on vashon– i grieved over for a few years. my dad bought my new one, just like he did my old one. one of those days that i fondly remember from my fraGmented childhood.

some days at the house are easy and glide by-others are filled with conflict. i am grateful for the warm bed, hot showers, and staff i can talk to when i need to. now, i have spent 6months in transitional housing– considering that i am homeless with housing, a relief. depending on how it’s viewed. i consider my room sacred & my door is always locked even when i am there. my space even in the small room is still mine.

this thursday marks the beginning of the new chinese year and it falls on my birthday, each day there is a energy shift. i cut the tags off my blundstones after rubbing mink oil into them and all my shoes yesterday. something that was calming, soothing while recognizing how square my boundaries have become. i am looking forward to the year of the rat, it’s a Beginning, anew.

of Juno (http://www.foxsearchlight.com/juno/) where one of the worst openers to a Great movie i have seen in a long time. the movie when it began gaining speed became a monster contender against The Others up for 8 oscar nods. maybe it’s the Greek fig ice cream i am eating or the fact that i was shuddering of disgust with total recall earlier today, or maybe it was the fact that life has taken a decisively different turn.

as in the movie i thought a few gut wrenching years ago that i had Found Love, deep sea diving style-in a 3weekFling. love is much like the the ice cream i am eating, it has ingredients that need to be added at the perfect time and then allowed to set. i won’t be writing a HowTo on how to Be/Find Love; because i am not the great proclaimer. @ least not anymore. i remember once in the early part of my twenties i found an adorable motorhead that preferred his mustang and grease to me. for months i tolerated the 8hour stints in the garage; when he proposed i said a Flat no-so to be kind, he whipped out a book of all the women his older brother had “ruined.”

it didn’t prove anything to me, being sexually comfortable is not a sin, and having a sinGular Bf does not make one an easy “catch.” maybe it’s the fact that i am sick of the Creepy guys that catch my eyes when i am volunteering-and think that berating my intelligence and wit is the way to my heart. I don’t think so…or drinking coffee with GreenMermaids-one word Yuck! i found that in my life the last 6 months love is much different than that, it’s open and accepting and Honest.

    this isn’t a brag entry-life has taken a different turn and it wasn’t a U-Turn.

the postal service is playing in the background @ the cupcake place as i am watching kids on winterBreak scramble in for a quick sugar rush and laughter. found 4gigs of ram on my ol’ beater laptop this past weekend and had a sudden new urge to go to a gym and attempt to regain what my bod was in my 20’s.

i had the Luck or grace or both to sit through there will be blood http://www.therewillbeblood.com  this past weekend; i would have rathered suffered @ the mall we saw the movie. i am Huge fan of daniel day lewis since he was in the last of the mochicans nearly 15years ago. the musical score reminded me of what i sounded like when i first began playing cello, AwFul, repetitive and going nowhere. much like the acting that ruined Uptown sinclairs book, by using snippets more suited for a game than a movie. heartless and gutless, for nearly 3 hours. don’t waste your Tendollars.

seattle has been momentarily ambushed by Tiny snippets of actual snowFall, yeah the kind that makes anyone from warmer temps Freak. i have been having an ongoing battle with what i view as a excellent cafe with UberPoor internet, Blah.

am feeling Juno and am looking forward to teenage angst, jennifer garner and the fact that this chick flick has some actual oscar weight. things are good, the days move slowly but steadily along with lighter days and spring, around the corner….
