I’m traveling this Summer & had to retrieve some important docs for my trip. What I found was a bunch of fake sites that steal your personal info. I almost put in all my info on a site that wasn’t the Real website.
I realised it when it didn’t have the .gov at the end of the site. It said .com, really scary. Anyway, I’m glad I found the mistake in time.
It’s like the interwebs are full of scammers & criminals. Thank gawd I know that the official site had to say .gov. If you’re online & need important docs for your trip be Very careful & look for the word “official” in the headline if you’re searching on a website like Google don’t go Anywhere else.
I think going on a shopping spree with all the clothes that end up in landfills is becoming unethical. I only buy clothes when I need them & find that buying stuff I no longer need just for the sake of having it. It’s simply something I no longer do.
Having something in my closet I don’t wear is a waste of money & resources. So I’m no longer enticed by shopping unless it’s necessities like food & meals for our dog. If I like a store I have to find something I’d actually wear & not just take space in my closet.
I hardly buy women’s magazines anymore because they feed into fast fashion & seasonal hip stuff. I’m particularly fed up with these long coats that I assimilate with being a junkie & homeless that have been all the rage this Winter. Also yesterday while doing errands in town I saw the same colored scarf on more than 5 people.
No individuality in other words, I find fast fashion boring so I chose not to follow it. I follow trends in sportswear & active wear because there are always upgrades you can get. Like my thermal leggings with fleece lining. They work perfect for the Winter & I never have to wear wool long underwear & pants.
I tend to wear what I have in my closet & go shopping there instead of the mall or my favorite store. I have some really comfortable stuff that doesn’t make me look dapper. I buy my clothes from eco friendly brands & tend to stay away from H&M & other fast fashion retailers. So, no I’d not go on a shopping spree anytime soon.

I’m a writer & have been one for over 2 decades, when people ask me what I do I almost feel like I get laughed at. I have one book published in 2018 called “Greylight” it’s a book of poetry. Being a writer means you end up working lots of odd & ends jobs, waiting for my break.
My dream is to write full time & submit pieces for publication. If it’s electric or on paper something that shows that I know how to submit pieces & get published.
So the question I hate the most is “what do you do?” I have worked lots of weird jobs & have had lots of odd ball bosses. My last “boss” used me because I was on unemployment & I was just Free labor in his store. Even though I was a fast learner & good with customers. It forced me to go off unemployment & stopped receiving benefits.
Apparently this is a common problem in Norway & it forced me to go off unemployment & seek a part time job on my own. I found the practice by a supposed “boss” unethical & coming from someone that called himself a cafeteria Christian person he shouldn’t have behaved that way.
He magically quit the store not 2 months after he had used me for free labor in his store. He found a religious organization to work for. Somehow I think his behavior most likely followed him there. That’s called Karma.
Yeah so what do you do? How I hate this question. Period.
