  • Seven day return policies

    Are outdated & treat the customer like a child. I made the mistake & purchased a dress this Spring that just doesn’t fit me right. Although the store still sells the dress currently I was refused a refund & even store credit.

    The 7 day return policy is insulting to the customer & just plain rude. I thought I had found a place to shop because I know it’s locally owned. I will spend my money where they honor the customer & don’t treat them like an idiot.

    Next time I know where I’ll go & it’s no longer to that local chain.

  • What I thought in my 20’s.

    What’s your definition of romantic?

    When I was in my 20’s I thought being romantic was red roses & chocolate. Now, however I look at romance in a very different way.

    Romance to me now is how my husband will pick our blueberries & clean them & make them ready for me to eat. Yes, I know how that sounds like a chore but to me it has become a sign of love.

    Another sign of love that I find really romantic is my husband making our bed. Not after we’ve slept on it but when we’re changing the sheets.

    A thing that I find really romantic is when I travel I can call him anytime even if it’s late or early. Knowing that there’s a time zone difference he still picks up the phone. That’s romantic.

    Or how he makes me coffee in the morning & we time together on the couch before the day starts. Making it my favorite time of the day.

    How important is spirituality in your life?

    Since I live gratefully everyday, I believe in karma. Being grateful means helping people that needed it. & letting toxic people & their energy do their thing. Usually toxic people get their energy returned pretty fast.

    Being grateful for the past decade has given me much in return. By not giving into the toxic people I encounter I live happily. By being happy I spread happiness that’s just as important as money. Actually I think happiness trumps money.

    I grew up in a pretty wealthy neighborhood & saw first hand how money didn’t make people happy. I believe that being wealthy doesn’t solve anything but maybe paying for a parking ticket or speeding ticket.

    By being grateful I don’t feel the need to buy friends or buy clothes every time I’m in town. Grateful means being thankful for the small things as well as the big things. How are you grateful?
