    I guess I’ve gotten to that age where I no longer feel desperate for friendships. I’m done chasing people that obviously don’t care.

    I’ve had good friends that I’ve known since college, nearly 30 years. I may not see them constantly but they are in my life.

    I’m becoming more grateful for the people that want to be in my life than the people that don’t. I’m simply done chasing people. That feels pretty good. It reminds me of my 20’s & all those ultimatums & grand plans I used to make with the guys I dated. No more living in that bubble of distortion.

    First, let me start by saying I like our house but the kitchen is crap. My dream house would have an open kitchen living room.

    With lots of windows, we get lots of light. A manageable walkway, not what we currently have which is unsafe. A garage for our car with a car charger in it.

    Kinder & nicer neighbors than what we have now. I’m frankly disgusted & disappointed in the “adults” in our current neighborhood. They’re bullies & lack maturity! So, my ideal neighborhood would have kind people in it. How do your neighbors affect how you look at where you live?

    The most important invention in your lifetime is…

    & smartphones. Are the two most important inventions in my lifetime. I think smartphones are horrible & I could stand my life without them. The internet has become a point of contention as there’re more unsafe sites then safe ones now.

    You have to know the URL down to the .com precisely. If you don’t you end up on the dark web. Something that doesn’t happen too often but is scary nevertheless. Now, with smartphones & the web I seriously worry for my friends if both stop working? How will they cope & what survival skills do they have?

    I wish we could go back & skip both inventions. What would the world look like then? If we still listened to tapes & CDs & had manual cameras instead of one connected to our phones. What would the world be like?
