It’s getting time to get the house ready before we go. The four legged creature is going to doggie bootcamp & has no idea that tomorrow he’ll be eating his supper somewhere else.

Tomorrow I am spending the day cleaning & getting the dog ready for his adventure. I will miss him in bed with us. Of course the hubby gave him prime real estate in bed last night. The doggie is really spoiled.

I am getting excited to travel back to my old city. It’ll be fun. Watch for fun blogs in the coming weeks. See you later.

These days I am grateful for our four legged creature, he keeps our heart rate down & tackles us the days that are stressful. It’s one of the things I am grateful for that I have a healthy dog. He is also pretty content which is good. But it makes the hard days all the more bearable.

He is learning how to walk on a longer leed that is good, as we had him on a pretty short one for a long time. It means he can search out his favorite snack, cat poo. In a few days he is off to doggie boot camp for a few weeks while we travel. I think he will really love it.

He always makes me happy when I come home & jumps & is excited because he knows he will be able to go out & do his dog stuff. There are some days where I wish I was a mom to a child but most of the time I am happy to be a mom to the four legged creature.

When we where all alone he & I we would go to bed early & wake up early everyday. He was a great companion in those lonely months. I was glad I had him with me everyday. On Sundays we would go for a stroll & he loved it. It’s wonderful to be a dog owner. It really is. Dogs are good for humans. Till next time.

So, I have been thinking lately that I really look forward to coming home in the afternoon. It’s not just the four legged creature that is happy to see me it’s also seeing Castle on the telly. It’s like comfort food for the soul. The show is well written & the acting of nathan fillion & the rest of the cast is stellar, literally. Makes me really wish that it was still on the TV.

With all the stress that I have been under recently it’s really great to come home to see the show. The dog takes a nap before his supper which is always after the episode is over. It’s one of those things that no matter how bad the day is the show cheers me up.

Yesterday the dude ranch episode was on & it was great! The writing was super & the show was stellar as always. Maybe it’s narrow minded of me to like a show such a Castle but I really like how it’s done & the actors are not stiff, but natural.

There’s some stuff coming up I am really excited about, we are traveling in a few weeks & it should be fun? The four legged creature is going to doggie boot camp for 2 weeks. He needs to lose weight so it’s great. Thanks for reading as always.
