What’s one piece of travel advice you always follow?
Carry a small, easy to sip water bottle. I’ve not bought water at an airport for years. Most airports have water filling stations after security.
A 3-1-1’bag: Why check a bag because of liquids when travel shops have sturdy, small & legal 3-1-1 bags that last longer than the Ziploc bag you’ll have to bring one or more of.
An easy carry on bag that you can fit clothes in for weeks. I’m a huge fan of 20″ inches or less. I used a Cotopaxi backpack this summer & still couldn’t wear all the clothes I brought.
No jeans on long haul flights. I wear my travel pants from Toadandco.com I use their Earthworks pants. They dry fast & it takes many days to get them to be smelly & gross.
A comfortable pair of shoes, sneakers & thin wool socks. So my feet don’t get smelly.
Last but not least something good to snack on. No potato chips or dry meat products. If you travel internationally you can get a hefty fine at your destination.
Happy traveling.
