It’s almost starting to feel like a regular Christmas, all but mask mandates & the strict hygiene rules. In our house today it smells of Saffron & mulled wine. We’re celebrating Saint Lucia a day early. A few weeks ago we were hoping to have actual people over but that changed last week.

When the government rolled out new mandates for us this Christmas. Yesterday when we decorated the tree it almost felt like a “normal” Christmas. But now it doesn’t with the limiting of personal contacts et cetera.

The husband is back on home office & we’re wondering what next year will bring?? For now though we’re going enjoy the moment & figure out what this year’s Christmas will be like. Oh & all the snow rained away so, so much for a white Christmas.
