I met my husband at a Scandinavian club in Seattle in the early 2000’s. I was a volunteer there & he was a patron. I volunteered there for several years. For their pancake breakfast.

We started dating in early 2002 but things were not firm between us until 2007. 5 years later. The Scandinavian club was a large part of my life & I really enjoyed being there for breakfast. The club looked out over Lake Union & the city. However, we didn’t get married there. We got married above the Artic Circle in 2010.
