It’s dreary outside with torrents of rainfall & a wind that slaps you when you take the dog out. Or a typical Winter day here. But I digress.

Today my husband & I had pea soup with ham & Swedish pancakes for dinner. Something I can’t recall having in decades. You eat the pea soup first & then finish with pancakes. It’s like dessert for dinner.

In Sweden this meal is often eaten on a Thursday night. That’s their tradition. Anyway, the meal turned out really well & we have enough soup to freeze so we can eat it some other time.

The dog is asleep in his box & my husband is on the couch. A very relaxing Sunday indeed. The best part is that we finished eating before it got dark.
