• 5 things I’m good at

Share five things you’re good at.

    1. Being ridiculously early to appointments & interviews.
    2. I’m a great storyteller, the most boring subjects become interesting.
    3. I consider myself a good writer, & I often observe things or people that others miss.
    4. I’m great with dogs as we have one ourselves. He’s a really good boy & is great on leash.
    5. I feel like I’m a good giver. I always surprise my husband with ideas he hasn’t thought of.
  • Blundstones &

What are your two favorite things to wear?

Since I live in a rainy city, the items of clothing I wear the most are my Blundstones & my Barbour jacket. The jacket is over 4 years old & my Blundstones well I now have several pairs.

I wear my Blundstones year round & can count on one hand how many times I actually wear sneakers in the city I live in.

The Barbour jacket was a Christmas gift a few years ago & requires that it’s waxed once a year to keep it from becoming water logged. It’s a labor of love.

Now, my jacket is in fashion something that I can’t really take. I’m not into being in fashion. I wear shirts that are almost a decade old because I’m not into the fast fashion thing.

For my Blundstones I switch color depending on my mood. In the Winter with medium weight wool socks. Anyway, I recently acquired a rain hat that matches my jacket. I feel very on trend. Yuck.

Can’t wait till my Barbour goes out of style again so I can wear it without getting looks.

  • Cellphones

What technology would you be better off without, why?

They enable stalkers to “track” their victims. We’re addicted to doom scrolling & the little blue screen. They cause interference in our lives by going off at the wrong time.

Cellphones have caused harm in children beginning at age 2. Young children under the age of 10 have shown to develop eating disturbances that they will spend their whole life fighting.

Tiktok “influencers” put pressure on young children to lose weight & dress perfectly when they should be drawing, reading & creating. I agree with Australia that children under the age of 16 shouldn’t have one.

I have personally seen kids harass each other after school on a local bus by using cellphones & inappropriate age apps.

No, thanks I’d rather go back to the 1980’s before this horrible device was invented. Before the internet & all the crap that has come along with it. No thank you!
