It’s time for my annual Thanksgiving post. Something I write every year.
This year has been a rollercoaster of trips & things happening at home. I can start with our trip to Spain where we saw most of Andalusia & caught COVID right after arriving.
We met some cool people where we were. In Granada we found a wonderful local café with the best coffee. In Cadiz we scored tickets to authentic culture thanks to a wonderful local.
But right after coming home I turned around & took a trip across the pond to my high school 30th year reunion. A really pleasant night with good people! I ate a lot of lobster rolls when I was there. It was hard not to! Then after a week I came home to cruise ship hell.
Oh & a lot of rain of course! We pick up the dog from the boarding facility. Apparently he has his own posse when he’s there. So cute. Anyway, it was an eventful Summer.
Now, with my heart issues, I’ve been in/out of the doctors office all Fall. There haven’t been any hikes because I’m simply not allowed.
I’m however grateful for my sweet husband & our four legged creature. Who just got a clean bill of health from the vets. I’m happy even with all the health crap going on. Looking for another trip around the sun & my 50th birthday next year!
