Share a story about the furthest you’ve ever traveled from home.

Ten years ago now we traveled to Australia in the beginning of their Spring. We flew into Sydney & then flew to the coast to Cairns. We spent a few days at the coast & the rainforest then flew to Darwin.

From Darwin we drove down to Alice Springs, a place I had fallen in love with as a young reader. We stopped by Uluru State Park & saw the rock & learned the history behind it. Alice Springs was wonderful right in the center of Australia.

Then we flew back to Sydney & then back home. It was a 14 hour flight but well worth it!
