What was the best compliment you’ve received?

Last week I met two mature boys who thought I was in my 30’s; something I’ve not been for 20 years!

I was touched & flattered as they complimented me for not wearing make up. They were two boys that had been raised right.

They were not brats with cellphones. Like the harassing kids I had the unfortunate run in with today.

I feel that cellphones have ruined kids completely. 8 year olds who think that screaming at an adult is acceptable behavior.

Society is hanging on by a thread & IF I ever get to take care of a child they will not have a cellphone. The children in my neighborhood are harassing, bratty & spoiled children that don’t have boundaries & think that anything is acceptable behavior.

There’s something to be said for the chance meeting I had last week. There are bright, smart kids out there just not in my neighborhood.
