What’s your dream job?

My dream job has always been to either open a small local cafe or get paid for my writing. My dream is to get a decent pay check for my writing. The cafe is a dream I’ve had for years. To be a safe haven in the neighborhood & to do a little bit of community outreach.

With the cafe, I’d have no cellphone policy in the cafe. Meaning you’re supposed to talk to people & to be creative with the time you visit. I’d have coloring books & real books to read. Oh & I wouldn’t have WiFi in the cafe.

In this time of grave uncertainty having a safe space is really important that’s what I’d want my cafe to be. As for the writing, it’s something I’ve done since I was 16. It’d be great to get paid for my point of view.
