Name the most expensive personal item you’ve ever purchased (not your home or car).

I spent nearly $400 on hiking boots a few years back during the pandemic. I was embarrassed after how much they cost but the boots were totally worth it. They’re comfortable & I can wear them all day when hiking. Where they are too expensive I don’t think so as when I wear them they pay for themselves.

The other purchase I made was boiled wool jacket/coat that I bought during the pandemic. It’s warm & comfortable between seasons & I look good in it. It’s over 4 years old & I still get compliments for it.
