What’s your favorite recipe?

It’s Swedish & I stress baked quite a few during the pandemic. The best part is to make it in an iron pan you put in the oven. I know the ingredients by heart & bake by feel.

Best eaten right from the oven. The whole house smells of cardamom. It’s like comfort food as brownies but just different.

My Mom is Swedish & she used to bake it on the weekends when I was a kid. The dough is delicate so over mixing isn’t a good idea as you mix out all the air for the cake.
