What is a word you feel that too many people use?

In Norway where I live the most over used word is “serr.” Because saying the word serious is too hard & takes too long to say out loud.

When I first started hearing it I didn’t understand why it had been shortened? Why shorten such a basic word.

I’ve used serr on a few occasions but find it ridiculous & weird. I’m in my 50’s now & don’t use very many slang words as I feel they make you look stupid. Something I’ve never been.
