First, she was a saint in Italy & she’s the Saint of Music. I played cello for a long time so that fits. Cecilia or Cecilie like I spell it comes from Italy. Where they celebrate Cecilia with festivals.

It’s also been done to a not so nice song about a cheating lover. We can thank Simon & Garfunkel for that one. In college I was constantly accused of “cheating” when I never had.

I prefer being the Saint of Music & as I listen to a ton of music I can relate better to that than the cheating lover.
