Can you share a positive example of where you’ve felt loved?

It was a very special day, as I had it in my grandmother’s town. She helped me along with my sister. My Farmor found someone I could borrow a traditional Norwegian Bunad to wear for the ceremony. Her friends baked us all sorts of cakes.

We had 10 different varieties of cakes all homemade that they baked for us. Although it was a small wedding it was full of good speeches & presents.

I’m glad we had a small wedding because big ones just aren’t worth the money in my book. My Farmor was so sweet that week & I’ll have her forever in my memory for how she & my aunt pulled it all together. We had a wonderful time in her town & spent our honeymoon on the Hurtigruten between Lofoten & Trondheim. I’m forever grateful for everyone that came & that my in-laws paid for the rehearsal dinner. Everyone contributed in either a small way or a big way & even though it was raining & foggy that day, it was wonderful!
