As a former vegetarian


What are your feelings about eating meat?

I was a vegetarian for over 10 years. Between 1990-2000, I hardly ate meat in any form. I was a vegan & ovo lacto vegetarian at that time.

During the decade I didn’t eat meat, it was impossible to find free range eggs & organic beef. Now, it’s very simple, I prefer to go to the farmers market & buy it directly from the farmer.

Since I’ve gone back to eating meat I’m very aware of where the meat is from. I’m the same about eggs & chicken. The thing that makes me happy is that Norway has strict rules when it comes to chemicals in food.

Also, that you can get Dobio certified food in regular grocery stores here in Norway. That makes it a plus.

By being aware of where your food comes from, you make a difference.
