Who is the most famous or infamous person you have ever met?

When I was around 12 years old in the middle of the 1980’s I met Paul Newman at a karate tournament. It wasn’t until years later that I realized how lucky I’d been.

I lived outside of New York City & even though I attended public school I had some famous parents that came to our orchestra recitals. I was very lucky one year when a girl in my class invited us all to her house. Little did I know how big the “Rocky Horror” movie would be at the time. I got to meet Meatloaf & his very kind wife. Our whole class had an end of the year party at his house.

I met some famous people in passing but I don’t like to bother them for selfies or autographs. I met a pretty famous Norwegian singer at my favorite coffee shop. She was really kind & sweet.

I tend to talk to them like normal people & not from a point of idolisation. I have often just said hello & nothing else.
