What is good about having a pet?

I’ve been a dog lover since I was a kid. I think they’re great for companionship & knowing you’re not alone. I spent most of my Uni years dog sitting.

But I think the best is to own your own dog. Our adored four legged creature is super spoiled even in his 9 plus years.

He’s a rare breed but a very good dog. He sleeps most of his days now & is well past the puppy stage.

Our four legged creature was almost taken from us last Summer when I came home to find him poisoned. I remember he wasn’t the same happy dog to see me & he was completely out of it.

The fact that someone tried to kill him often makes me question our safety in the neighborhood.

Anyway, he recovered & by the next day was is old self again. Lucky that I got home when I did.
