What makes a good neighbor?

A good neighbor is someone who’s considerate & who knows you well enough to ask when something is wrong. They’re not nosy or gossipy but kind in a real way & not the fake I know all.

Anyway, I think a good neighbor is someone who welcomes you back if you’ve been gone a long time. Asks you how you’re doing & is genuine.

I think a good neighbor is like a good barista or café owner. If you know them & they know you it’s easy banter & when they’re concerned they show it.

Being kind isn’t difficult but I think too many people think that it is. I genuinely give a damn about our kind neighbors. Not the people that behaved badly for years on end.
