Alternate universe scenarios. As of my 23rd birthday I was proposed to by my first serious boyfriend. I could’ve ended up living in a trailer park in Maine somewhere with government assistance & too many mouths to feed.

Scenario two: I was proposed to after my 27th birthday by a guy I barely knew. He was controlling & manipulative & was constantly gas lighting me. I’d have ended up going in/out domestic violence shelters & would now be living somewhere on the West coast under an alias.

That’s my alternate universe scenario. Have you nearly made a big mistake but then be grateful you didn’t?
