Swerving roads & high mountains greeted us as we drove in Lofoten. It was beautiful & the end of the road beckoned with one more ferry to the outer islands. 

The high season starts next week but I am grateful for the snow up to my knees & an amazing view in djevelporten in Svolvaer. 

Lofoten is a diamond in the rough I hope it stays that way & doesn’t become Iceland. Overrun & crowded & garbage as a thank you. 

I purposely didn’t include pictures of Lofoten here. Guess you’ll just have to image search & come see the beauty yourself.
